About
Our Ethos at Rose Acres Kitchen is to honor and to create. We honor the seasons and source our ingredients as close to home as possible. While we do grow some of our own ingredients (mainly herbs, flowers and select varieties of rare and heirloom produce), we are also committed to supporting sustainable and like-minded local purveyors. We create approachable dishes with unique touches, often inspired by time spent in nature. Whether it be a trip to the farmer’s market, a walk through the garden or a hike in the forest- inspiration is everywhere.
Trained in the kitchen yet drawn to the outdoors, chef Krista Poly shares and explores the art of cooking through the beauty of fresh ingredients- combining a blend of culinary inspiration with a deep appreciation for the natural world.

The Farm.
The Farm.
"to forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil is to forget ourselves"- Gandhi
The ground beneath our feet has a story to tell. This one, in recent years, tells the story of a once thriving 1930's dude ranch, a Christmas tree farm
and nursery. Nestled in the picturesque Santa Cruz Mountains, this land now tells the story of it's evolution into a regenerative farm.
Through holistic growing practices including cover crops, composting, crop diversity and native habitat building, we are dedicated to fostering a dynamic ecosystem.
We specialize in growing herbs, edible and ornamental flowers and heirloom produce.
